Rubber-metal elements insulate machine vibrations from the environment at the site or reduce disturbing effects of external vibrations on sensitive machines, apparatus and equipment. Rubber-metal elements prevent the most harmful excitation vibrations from being discharged to the environment (active interference suppression) or from being exposed to difficult devices (passive interference suppression). The damping is based on the internal work of the elastomer used, which is performed during the vibration process. As a result, some of the energy is converted into heat as a result of the friction of the molecules. Rubber-metal elements are maintenance-free. Compared to other elastomers, they have a very low setting property (compression set) - which guarantees excellent long-term stability.
