For more than 50 years, Kemmerich Elektromotoren GmbH & Co. KG has stood for innovation, reliability and technical expertise in electric drive technology. Founded in 1974 by Karl-Heinz Kemmerich, we remain an owner-managed company based in Gummersbach. Over the years, we have continuously expanded our range of services and are now among the leading suppliers of electric motors, frequency inverters and automation technology.

Our extensive product range includes, among other things:

Three-phase motors, special motors, brake motors and explosion-proof motors
Frequency inverters, soft starters and control solutions
Motors for specialised applications in mechanical and plant engineering
Maintenance, repair and refurbishment of electric motors from a wide range of manufacturers
Custom manufacturing and modifications according to customer requirements

In addition to our own manufacturing and customised solutions, we also supply branded products from leading manufacturers. We operate as a specialist distributor and sourcing partner:

Oriental Motor – officially authorised sales partner for compact motors, precision drives and controls
Mitsubishi Electric – frequency inverters & accessories
Toshiba – frequency inverters & accessories
Siemens – low-voltage and servo drives as well as drive components
SEW-EURODRIVE – geared motors, inverters and drive solutions
VEM – IEC standard motors and special motors

Through our established supply channels, we procure standard products and spare parts at short notice, support you with selection, replacement and parameterisation, and can supply tested documentation and factory certificates upon request.
