MiniCoder GEL
Quick start-up in the assembled state without opening the spindle with the optional test and programming device
Delivery plus Measuring gear wheel
The magnetic measuring systems consist of a ferromagnetic measuring gear and a scanning unit. Without their own storage, they work completely wear-free and maintenance-free. The optimized circuit and screen technology as well as the fully encapsulated electronics ensure safe use even under the most difficult environmental conditions.
High measurement accuracy and compact design make the MiniCODER the world’s most frequently used speed sensors in high-speed spindles of machine tools. 500.000 examples are used in machines for high-speed cutting, among other things. The encoders are suitable for all highly dynamic applications for speed and position detection and now also offer digital motor feedback.
With the MiniCODER family, we meet the requirements of Industrie 4.0. The new sensor generation sets new standards in communication and data processing based on integrated microprocessors.
Do you want to simply program different parameters? This is possible with the test and programming device via WLAN. An operating hour counter for different speed ranges is integrated - the evaluation and monitoring are convenient and very simple.

Together with the miniCODERS, the measuring gears form a contactless measuring system for speed and position detection. MiniCODER deliver speeds up to over 100.000 min-1. They generate square-wave signals (TTL, HTL) or Sin/Cos signals (1 Vss) optionally with reference signal. The detected reference pulse is used for referencing the position.
The position of the reference mark determines the phase position of the reference signal with respect to the track signals. To ensure the correct functioning of the sensor, MiniCODER and measuring gear must fit together. The selection of the reference mark is determined by the size and the speed of the measuring gear used, since both variables influence the forces acting on the reference mark.
