The servomotors of the MN series are exclusively intended to be controlled by power converters suitable for this purpose in a rotational speed and/or torque-controlled manner.The synchronous servomotors of the MN series are brushless, permanently excited synchronous motors with sinusoidal counter-EMK. In conjunction with the corresponding power converters, they are particularly suitable for high-quality servo applications, e.g. B. Positioning tasks with high demands on dynamics and stability. The servomotors have neodymium permanent magnets in the rotor. The stator accommodates a three-phase winding which is connected in a star connection with an internal star point and is supplied by the power converter. The motor has no brushes, sine commutation is carried out electronically in the corresponding power converter. As a return unit, the motors have a 2-poleen resolver installed as standard.You can get the MN motors with or without built-in 24VDC standstill brakes (not for continuous, operational braking), a retrofit of the brake is not possible.double-conical collet chucks have proven to be ideal coupling elements, possibly in conjunction with metal bellows couplings.The thermal protection device shall be integrated into the power converter monitoring system. Operation with nominal data and a flange temperature above 65°C is only permitted in exceptions.
