Characteristics
For the power supply of spring brakes from two motor phases (400 V AC):
Example: 180 V DC coil on the 400 V AC network.
The rectifiers used are protected against overvoltage by varistors both at the input and at the output.
If the switch is on the DC side, the brake closes significantly faster than when the switch is on the AC side (for example, factor 10).
