The soft-starter VersiStart II [17 – 45 A] was developed for the controlled and low-wear start-up of three-phase induction motors. It reliably reduces starting current and torque, ensures a smooth run-up and thus extends the service life of the motor and drive. The device is microcontroller-controlled, compact and can be easily integrated into existing controllers thanks to pluggable power terminals.
Characteristics
- Two-phase controlled soft starter
- Microcontroller controlled
- Optimized soft start with torque reduction
- √3-Schaltung for more compact design
- Easy installation, for snapping on 35 mm standard rail
- Bridging relays integrated
- Parameterization via three potentiometers (start-up time, start-up voltage, run-off time)
- No additional control voltage required
- no network center conductor (N) required
- spring-loaded terminals on the control side, power-side pluggable connections
- Cooling element temperature monitoring integrated
- Compact design: 45 mm to 32 A, 52,5 mm at 45 A
- Low-cost replacement for star/triangle switches
- Degree of protection IP 20
Functions
- Soft start and soft exit
- Potential-free control input for start/stop
- three separately adjustable parameters: Start-up time, starting voltage, run-off time
- Boost start selectable
- Potential-free relay outputs for operational mode, bridging and malfunction
Options
- Special voltages 230 V / 480 V
- Wide voltage 400–600 V with external control voltage 24 V DC (option B)
