  • The start-up capacitor is switched off by a centrifugal force switch when the speed is reached.
  • At low load, the temperature in the engine increases sharply and this can lead to failures.
  • Therefore, it is recommended that single-phase motors should not be operated at a load below 25 % of the rated load.
