Our CSXi soft starters give you increased control over starting and stopping three-phase motors. The CSXi series is an advanced soft start system with motor protection in the power range from 7,5 to 110 kW.
The CSXi is a soft starter with current measurement and control. In addition to soft start and soft stop, the CSXi offers a range of motor protection features, including motor overload, phase failure and start time monitoring. The CSXi also has a programmable output relay.
Compact design
The softstarter CSXi is a compact device that is suitable for installation in a switch box or a switch cabinet without the need for an external bypass guard. With only 165 mm depth, it can be easily mounted in flat switch cabinets.
For motors up to 60 A, the soft starter can be mounted horizontally on a DIN rail or in a space-saving manner.
Easy installation
With functions such as the dedicated output relay for controlling an upstream main contactor or for switching capacitors for reactive power compensation, the CSX soft starters can be easily integrated into complete motor control solutions.
Protection
The CSXi has built-in thermal motor overload protection. The motor current is continuously monitored and the expected temperature is calculated based on the monitored current. The user sets the motor protection class and the CSXi switches off when the calculated motor temperature reaches 105 %. When using a soft starter of this series, no external motor protection device is required.
Energy savings
The CSXi series has an internal bypass function to reduce operating costs. They are 99,5 % efficient during operation, do not generate harmonics and are the most energy efficient solution for fixed speed and variable load applications.
In addition, different communication cards, such as DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TC/IP, can be used.
