The thyristor power converters are constructed as switchgear cabinet-mounted device posts VDE guidelines. The control electronics are galvanically separated from the power part. The air and creep routes are >8mm. The power semiconductors are generously dimensioned. Only commercially available components are used in the industry standard.

The most important operating states are indicated with light-emitting diodes. The PI setting of the current regulators is done with two 4-switches. The devices are covered in a contact-proof manner. The electronic control system is plugged on at the front and is freely accessible. As far as possible, plug-in terminals are used for the connection. The high-current connections shall be connected to power terminals or stud bolts. The output stage is a semi-controlled bridge circuit.
