This page provides general information on the regulatory role of Kemmerich Elektromotoren GmbH & Co. KG, PPWR, REACH, RoHS and our Code of Conduct. Product- or delivery-specific statements are made only after reliable documentation has been reviewed.

Company role and regulatory classification

Kemmerich is a distributor and supplier of electric motors, gear units, frequency converters, pumps, drive technology components and accessories. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific product, we are not the manufacturer of that product. As a general rule, we are also not a manufacturer of packaging or packaging materials; we use customary shipping and transport packaging.

Where available and legally permissible, product-specific manufacturer statements may be requested from or passed on by the relevant manufacturer. We issue our own statements only for matters that we can reliably assess and document. We do not generally assume manufacturer obligations or guarantee the completeness of third-party manufacturer documentation.

EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation and transport packaging

Regulation (EU) 2025/40 concerns packaging and packaging waste. Depending on the product, weight and transport route, our shipments may use wooden pallets, cardboard packaging, stretch film, strapping, protective and cushioning materials.

In our understanding, Article 16 does not create a general obligation for every supplier of packaged industrial products to provide complete technical packaging documentation or its own EU declaration of conformity for externally sourced packaging with every delivery. We do not prepare technical packaging documentation on behalf of third-party packaging manufacturers. Reliable information from the packaging or product manufacturer may be passed on after a case-specific review. Complete packaging documentation is not automatically enclosed with every shipment. Food-contact packaging is generally not relevant to the drive technology products we typically supply.

For a specific review, please provide customer number, order number, item number, packaging type, the legal requirement concerned and the document required.

REACH information

We mainly act as a distributor and supplier of articles and are generally not a manufacturer of chemical substances. We distinguish between articles, mixtures, substances, spare parts and imported goods. Product-specific manufacturer statements are passed on where available.

We do not provide a blanket REACH compliance statement for our entire product range. SVHC, SCIP and substance information is supplied only on the basis of reliable sources. Please provide at least the item number and the relevant order. Safety data sheets are supplied only where materially required and available; no safety data sheet is invented for an article. A review may take time depending on the manufacturer and product.

RoHS information

RoHS is relevant only to products within its material scope. Not every drive technology component is automatically covered; electric motors, gear units, mechanical components and industrial assemblies require differentiated assessment. Available manufacturer statements are passed on for the specific product and clearly identified as manufacturer documents.

We do not issue a blanket RoHS compliance confirmation for our full range or a declaration on behalf of a manufacturer. Please provide item number, manufacturer, intended use, target market and the required version of the directive.
